Torinne Zach’s photography practice investigates alluring aesthetics through visual richness that strongly connects to fashion. Desire and aesthetic pleasure in fashion photography and contemporary art is often explored and sometimes challenged in Torinne’s photographs. Highly influenced by the relationship between fashion and art and the tension they draw from one another, Torinne attempts to create a middle ground between a fashion and fine art image. Similar to her practices in other disciplines, the relationship between representation, subject, artist and viewer, remain an integral part of the concept.
